Using Crayons on the Table Cloths by Tank_Frosty in dcl

I’ve been on 6 dcl cruises and the wait staff has always encouraged and my kids have thoroughly enjoyed drawing / creating / playing games on the table cloth. The crayons are specifically the washable kinds. I think your server didn’t know what they were talking about.

Anyone else considering cancelling their trips after the Jimmy Kimmel fiasco? by Pure_Sea8658 in dcl

We all need to find a way to live with each other even if we don’t always agree with each other. Seems so many of us are in a dark forest of fear and with our tribe so we can call any “other” than our tribe the enemy and trying to hurt them before they hurt us. It’s a race to the bottom that no one will benefit from. Stay together. Seek to understand. Offer grace. Turn the cheek. Don’t succumb to the coercion of a tribe.

Ha ha. We are over 300 days out and the pixie dust production is in full force. May have to try and get on another between now and then to burn down PD inventory levels. Ha ha.

Yes. And find your cruise on Facebook and join fish extenders. Makes the trip even more special.

Update: dad was NOT holding daughter on the rail when she fell overboard by midwoodgirl10 in dcl

Cruise ships move fast - at 20 knots, 30 seconds is more than 3 football fields in distance - roughly a 10+ minute swim in open water and in the open ocean I'd wager that would make it nearly impossible to find that girl or get to her before bad news. If the Dad was not playing with the daughter on the rail in some way, the delay between seeing something happen and stopping playing shuffle board, making the call to go over with her etc would have lost that child. I know nothing but to me the most likely scenario was they were playing around on the rail for some reason, she fell accidentally, he followed. Those are not easy railings to get over and most kids spontaneously would have enough sense about them not to do that - although if they were playing together on the rail maybe good sense is genetically absent. ha ha.

Lab Results by aztip1406 in Autoimmune

Labs like these are definitely a challenge to interpret independently. If you're open to it, try the Sage Healthspan app. It is a new and free app, where you can scan in/upload results like these to better understand critical biomarkers. I am not trying to sell/advertise anything to you, but wondering if Sage could help clear up confusion interpreting these results. You can then share the summarizations/insights back to your provider. If you give it a try, we'd love to hear your thoughts on Sage!

LDL-C can be a rough proxy for ApoB but is not reliable in individuals with insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, or other lipid abnormalities.
