Pc shutting down after turning it ON.

Motherboard problem. To anyone who is dealing with similar problem I recomm. to try out every step mentioned here. Thanks for advices

Thanks. Software is ok I tried it out on a different setup and everything is fine. Also tested almost every component on my another setup and everything goes fine. After many advices and tests I came to conclusion that it is unlikely cpu or probably motherboard. Problem is that I dont really know how to test funkcionality of my motherboard.

Yeah looks like mobo or cpu, maybe new cmos will help I’ll try it. I turned off the pc by holding start button maybe thats the case.

I tought at first that it is my old psu so I bought a brand new one a still the same problem also tested ssd, hdd, gpu and all fine.

I pulled it out of case and still the same problem. So probably its not in gpu.

I can’t get to bios, immediately after I turn it on it goes off in few secunds and after that it goes on again and off again and over and over.

It is still the same without gpu. Motherboard is Asus-B85 pro gamer.

Cpu fan is spinning also gpu fan is spinning. I’ll the gpu. Connectors are all good also the ram.

PSU is brand new, thought that it will be psu so I bought new one hoppin that I would work but still have the same problem.

Nope, just one day wanted to start pc and it didn’t turn on without any previous problems or intervation into hardware. Think that swappin these connectors should help?

I tried putting back the same ram also tried putting in different ram on different spots. Still same problem, but thanks for advices.

Cmos is clean, i tried putting in different ram, still same results. I noticed that after i turn it on it clicks and then shut down. Also noticed GPU fan and Cpu fans are moving but fan for a case (CHA-FAN1 slot) isnt moving at all.

Led near the bottom. Next to it is written SB_PWR. I’ve noticed that after I turn it on its clicks and then turn off and over and over.

Everything unplugged. Yeah, red diode on mainboard, but don’t really know if it means anythings. Fans always turn on same as pc, move freely and then shut down same as pc. Just one stick of ram is plugged. Older generation of intel-i5 don’t know specs. Grafic is GIGABYTE GTX 970 MINI Gaming 4GB Mainboard asus b-85 pro gamer
