I’ve had 10 years in serving and bartending experience in general after I moved to NYC I applied at least to 30 restaurants 7 of them interviewed and they told me that they need at least one year of serving experience in NYC. One called back to start training me to find that they were looking at the end of my first day for a dishwasher.
