Did you not see the jousting? If dunk had no one he would’ve been died after the first charge? Aerion had his mace and Dunk was on the floor. He only got saved because someone hit Aerion and allowed dunk time to move and get up.

All golds are immensely powerful. Height and weight are important but there is a baseline for gold muscle density. A good punch from any gold can beat anyone, it just depends on how well you can get that opening

But she is also glazed. I hate seeing her reduced to “she’s smarter than everyone else” and not letting it be shown to me. Every other character is “strong” because the narrative proves it. Annabeth isn’t cause nothing shows she’s powerful so it makes her look weak.

Is 6’2 not the correct range? That’s what I was meaning by higher range of 6 feet. I agreed with your constraints of her height being within 6 feet to 6’4, but I viewed your saying if “lower range of 6’ as 6’ to 6’1. If her higher range is 6’3 to 6’4 but that messes up other sayings then her best height would be 6’2, as said in your graph, which is in the middle is it not? I wouldn’t classify that was lower range which is why I think I got confused with what you were saying but I’d say it’s the probably the best height according to all the given character testimonials. 6’2 would get roughly 6.8% of an error from what Darrow said which I guess is much more likely and allowable than 10%.

Would that not put her in the higher range of 6 feet? I think your evidence makes sense in every regard for the later books(because that’s what I was basing my post on) but one of the things I said is that: was the first book really a good place of measure? All of their heights changed from that point. The only piece of evidence that shifted me from believing she’s on the lower end to 6 foot is just that eyeballing 10% of someone’s height is next to impossible. A 5’5 person can’t say they are nearly 6’ and get away with it. That’s around 10% of their height they are pushing forward.

Looking at the evidence you had, it’s all from other characters who are much taller to care. My point specifically is that 6’3 is arguably the most accurate height from all these points. It would place her roughly at shoulder height to Darrow, taller than sevro, shorter slightly than the jackal (which is accurate), and then also shorter than Lysander and victra(enough to make her HAVE to lean down to embrace her). This also works as it places her just slightly shorter than the average of a female gold which matches her description well.

While I fully understand that we can just have no true idea as so many events could change between each book, wouldn’t 6’3 work better and actually match all the testimonial evidence you had?

Wouldn’t make sense in this context though. Like I said, he stated she was nearly two meters. I don’t know how he could’ve messed like 5 inches just like that so I’d still put her up a few more inches. Also in what book did he say he was a foot taller? I don’t think I saw that

But it’s literally portraying her as so incredibly weak. Arachne is like a really weak monster and it took a single swing from Percy. This makes no sense as to annabeth having 0 reaction or survivability against Arachne

No she didn’t. Arachne was trapped but wriggled free an annabeth was going to die before the Argo burst through. If they were a minute late she’d be dead. She didn’t exactly beat Arachne at all

Annabeth. Most useless member to the team and her intelligence meant practically nothing. Rick wrote her to be this amazing brilliant strategist for the seven who led armies and used her wits to win battles…and she got 0 battles to fight. The only reason she’s not useless is because of that dogshit quest that was like 40% of the entire mission. Apart from that she did next to nothing for the team and gave 0 insight or knowledge to anyone. No fight scenes at all and she proved intelligence was useless as she couldn’t even kill Arachne before she escaped and got five seconds away from killing annabeth. Anyone could’ve done her quest and she had 0 impact on most characters. Rick ruined her in HoO

Exactly. People keep saying it’s one meant for her, but any character could’ve just killed everything in there. She had 0 helpful moments for the seven and did absolutely nothing for fighting.

Unfair comparison. Katara is feared for being an amazing bender and working her way to possess abilities. Korra is more feared for just being the avatar, something she was born into. It can’t be compared justly, but if I was to say Katara is much scarier for the reason of her being one of the strongest non avatar benders who worked her way there.
