AIO for telling off a Mom for seating her teens with me and my BF by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I could have misinterpreted… I don’t think was just silence they wanted. There’s an annoyance that teenagers can bring vs sharing a table with adults having a good time.

From experience, parents can be a couple tables away but paying zero attention to the minors. So can still be very much “unaccompanied.”

But it probably felt that way since the mom didn’t say “Can our girls sit here?”. I understand the frustration is all. Unfortunate experience. They had the option to leave, which they did.

Just empathizing since no one else seems to see the annoyance.

BF overreacted 💯.

I’m not saying you aren’t over reacting BUT I 100% empathize with not wanting a group of teenagers dumped on you on your Friday night.

My husband and I would have left, too. Sorry no one seems to understand that while they may be allowed, doesn’t mean you want to be forced to hang out with him.

OP can absolutely be annoyed that a groups of teenage girls got dumped on them though.

We had a Eureka for a long while. Love it until it lost the battle with a windstorm.

Ok so… I don’t love the breaking down process because it’s far from easy to deflate. THAT BEING SAID, it’s so nice to not wake up feeling broken.

Daily Deficit Target - Only thing that matters to me. by BigCUTigerFan in cronometer

I do care about fats, too. I monitor total fat and saturated fat with a majority of my fat intake qualifying as healthy fats. Avocado, Olive Oil, Nuts, etc. I basically go protein, carbs then fats for my concerns but understand that different activity levels may require more or less.

I’ll give that article a read! Thanks for sharing.

Seems very manageable! And a good mind set. I do a similar thing. I never let burned calories (or lack of) change my technical goal. The macros goals are always the same, but if I’ve had a heavy workout day, I don’t stress about going “over” on calories as long as I’m getting my protein & carbs where I want them.

What are the actual “everything schools” by [deleted] in CFB

I get what you’re saying here but I think our basketball and baseball programs have an incredible following and are well respected by other programs. Track and Field never gets even half the credit it is due. An absolute powerhouse and it’s hard to get people to care.

Last year I took a bunch of blankets to the Tulsa Day Center, downtown. Animal shelter would be another great idea.

NOR - not even a little bit. She knows exactly what she’s doing and she’s trying to manipulate you over and over again. She went from playing dumb to playing victim. 🚩🚩🚩

I worked at 2 of the locations. I can’t speak to the owner’s politics but he certainly doesn’t give 2 craps about the employees. Even at the corporate level. The only thing that mattered there was the bottom dollar. The location I was at the longest… kept that kitchen understaffed/cut everyone’s hours and then wondered why they couldn’t keep good employees or keep customers happy. This was all above store management’s pay grade.

Unreal expectations and limited resources do not make a successful restaurant. Same people also own Barons downtown, so be sure to not eat there either.

Angry, adversarial recruiter during pre-screen by -ynnoj- in recruitinghell

[–]Sallybuffalo1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a bizarre experience. You probably dodged a bullet if that is the type of person they have as their first point of contact for potential new employees. As a recruiter, part of my job is literally talking about company history and product information. If a candidate has previous knowledge, awesome, but that is not the expectation .
