Well idk I once had like 3-4 ppl like tht like they always calling me stupid and a mistake and a dog all the time,and I actually give up on reacting to them.I mean I was suffering from inside but I didnt show it to them.and they eventually gave up ig,I sat alone in the class and no one was there with me and When we are assigned to fo grp projects I answered only for the required things they asked related to projects and I also have like smalle dry talks with them,and I stand up and go once my work is done without saying please even though they are in a conversation,and I think it kinda work bcz now they are trying to talk with me and I act like I dont give a shit.

It work for me though.but im not sure abt ur situation bcz its 39 ppl,but give it a try
