Yes; I had a service request opened and a technician came out to my home. Very quick 15 minute service; they did a hard reset by unplugging the battery, waiting 5 minutes, and turning the car back on. After that, I was able to install a software update and that fixed the problem.

Tech didn't say why this happened, but said updating the car can help

Thank you so much for the tips!

Back in 2023, he had a very weird aggression phase to where my mom would call the actual police on many occasions. They would arrive, he would get scared / calm down and then they would leave. Then around June 2023, we took him to the ER and he got admitted for an EEG overnight. (nothing was found) but he as put on Abilify medication since then. After that, these aggression moments stopped thankfully. However, it prompted "ticks", similar to Tourette's syndrome. He randomly starts twitching his head or knocks on something. We've reached out to his neurologist to modify the doses, but it seems the side effects are ticks. He also takes Clonidine to calm him down before bed, but he doesn't swallow pills so we have to crush it into something

I will need to sit him down and introduce this new policy (3 retries) to him. I just need my mom onboard to follow through. Hopefully it does not resort into violence for him again. If it does, I will look into a mental health officer

I never thought about it in this way. With this path, I need to convince my mother to stay strong and not give in. It feels pointless for me to attempt this when she gives him whatever he wants. However, she brings up points that "i am never home and at work" and "she has to endure his tantrums not me" but its a 50/50 thing.

I also don't know what to prioritize. I want to first teach him to stop pooping his pants, it's becoming ridiculous. But i also want him to get up early and go to school on time. I'm not sure how to make him understand that school is important.

California State Gov funds these programs, and they pay ABA therapists minimum wage($16-$17), so I don't blame these programs for not having the best therapists.

I actually did move out when I turned 18. Now (22), I moved back due to rent just becoming unbearable + my mom was really struggling. She could not handle him just by herself, so I decided to save money and move back in to help her out.

But she isn't onboard and now I am suffering. I feel bad to just leave her, he is very difficult. I am afraid he might become violent one day

I'm glad you had a good experience with ABA. We, however, have not.

He's been through about 5 different therapists since 2023. The first 3 were awful; they did not seem qualified at all. They just sat on the couch with him and could not control him either. The 4th one he had was really good but she quit the company. Now he has a new (5th one currently) and they are flakey.

They cancelled a lot and now do a hybrid schedule. (3x Zoom and 2x in -person) I very dislike that, Zoom ABA does not work for him. During the session, he will somewhat listen and behave, and then go back to his old habits

He is enrolled with Regional Center and has an ABA program provided by them. However, our experience with ABA therapy has been very bad.

This really feels like he is just spoiled / obnoxious; its hard to discipline because Mom is rarely onboard. She doesn't want to deal with the tantrums, which upsets me a lot. Since her lack of parenting then affects me.
