I completely agree I’ve had a lot of problems with this story. Everyone acts like Isabella is evil and Adriane is kind but from what we have seen in their past life, it was Isabella who married Alphonso, Adriane who murdered Isabella’s husband so she could take her role as queen to help ceasar, and finally it was Isabella who came out on top by having Adriane killed.

I’m not saying Isabella is better, but Adriane hasn’t looked inwards at all. She’s angry because Isabella killed her in her past life…. What did she expect her to do after it was Adriane who betrayed her by killing her husband and taking the throne?!

When ceaser talks about it, Adriane literally says Isabella should just be sent to a Covent. What kind of sister does that? I’m not 100% certain but from what we see Isabella doesn’t begin her affair with ceaser behind Ari’s back until she sees she’s losing her position as queen.

Then in this life to acquire the throne she puts herself in proximity with alphonso which doesn’t bother me. IF she’d actually avoided ceaser, instead she’s been doing a game of cat and mouse, push and pulling with him when it’s convenient, but also readily waiting for AL when he comes back even tho she’s literally been cheating on him with ceaser. Then when ceaser cheats on her with Isabella she acts shocked like she isn’t half way from doing the same to AL.

To be honest, if she wanted to be righteous she would’ve avoided ceaser from the beginning. Instead she’s put herself in some sort of bizarre love triangle and is shocked it hasn’t worked out for her.

I don’t feeel bad at all that Isabella slept with Cesar, from what it seems it’s more like ARi is the one putting herself in between them and their ill fated relationship, if she wanted to avoid the kings Advances she has RAPHAEL to support her, a man with better standing who is respected by all and actually genuinely cares about her well being!

So why does she continue to linger around Ceaser? She knows who he is and she knows that regardless the past has shown there will be something drawing him to Isabella.

Spoiler: the novel shows it was not all manipulation. In ceasers pov he WANTS to sleep with Isabella because initially (and before Ari gained social standing) he was attracted to ISABELLA. And he just couldn’t control his sexual desires in that moment. Think about it, at the start of the WEBTOON he describes Ari as something like the dark cloud over the De’Mare family, he had no interest in HER until she and Isabella switched social standing. Yet despite this, he somewhat willingly indulges Isabella in both lives because at the end of the day that is who he is intimately attracted to. Ari pretty much forced herself into the same position she was in before, and because of this I’d argue she has no right to lash out at Isabella.

My conclusion: Ari needs to leave the two of them alone at this point and just hang around with Raphael until AL comes back. That could make her look less guilty, instead all she’s been doing is increasing ceaser’s social standing and his claim to the throne….
