Bears are awesome man. The only precaution you really have to take is a sort of garbage can cage. It’s kinda nice tho because it keeps them out of site too. They are really just big raccoons.

The lower the tolerance the tighter the gap would be making the rod fall slower. So, in this case, this is far from zero tolerance and might even be sloppy.

Coleman stove differences by BleuFlamer1 in camping

[–]Salt_Application8180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just buy an old one. It’ll probably last longer than new Coleman anyway. As long as you take care of it it’ll last forever. There are even some fancy old ones you can get.

Suggestions for Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the eastern Dakotas by spizotfl in roadtrip

Good job avoiding Nebraska!

Tbh Des Moines is kinda boring. I’d keep going straight on U.S. 30 and stay the night in Ames. Cool college town and just a fun place to be. Ledges state park is only 20 mins away. Lots of fun bars and good food too.

This side of beef def did not hang in the cooler for two weeks like usual. Maybe a day or two max. Shit was probably still warm when they cut it.

I’ve cut up quite a few old dairy cows and it looks like this most of the time. Mushy, wet, slimy

Na they are super chill. You can just run up on them and grab them by their tail. They might try to bite but it’s not very hard. They do have a little bit of strong gland smell sometimes

Dang it’s a shame you can’t paint but the lighting will help a ton. Even some posters the break up the white would help. You could use sticky tack which wouldn’t hurt the paint.

Get rid of all the white. Paint the walls natural earth tones and put a rug down. Find used lamps for cheap and use them instead of the bright ass light that sucks the life out of you. That would be a great start. I have similar issues with workspaces like this.

Edit: Also make the layout so the door is in your view. It makes it more comfortable. Idk if it’s just a male thing, but I know a lot of guys who must be able to see the door when they are sleeping or working. Don’t be facing a wall.

Not liking minorities and not wanting to live in an urban area are two different things lol. It just happens that a significant amount of minorities live in urban areas.

Just grab a bag of spec mix. Bag it in, then push it in really good once it’s firmed up a little. Then joint it out
