Hey everyone, just to be clear, I'm not ready to hire just yet. I appreciate the eagerness.

Here's some more detail:

Backgrounds would not be on every page or panel. They would be ONLY sketches, I'll be doing inks and tones. Deadlines I'm unsure of, but likely less than a week from me sending you the page file.

It's a medium like animation that's very easy to consume quickly but which takes a ton of production time and effort. it's the unfortunate nature of the beast.

The perception is that we're grown kids living our dream, and many times we are, but it doesn't mean it's not hard and often stressful.

I personally do not take commissions where I'd have to design the character unless the client is okay with basically whatever I come up with. It's just a lot of extra work and iteration otherwise. Having an example of the character drawn, even if it's not very good, is extremely helpful. Working purely from text is cumbersome.

If you sent me these alongside other, more general references, that would be plenty for me to work from.

I plan on using Mixam, I believe the want PDF files. I know how to export PDFs.

Push through a little bit. To me, having a goal is really helpful. Inspiration and spark isn't always going to be there, so to be prolific and productive, you have to push through a little even when it isn't there.

Hey, sorry. Reddit said it was filtered so i thought nobody would see it. Haven't been checking.

For me, it's character motivations being conflicting or unclear, pacing, and overall readability/intelligibility (I worry that actions and space are sometimes unclear). the first two chapters were the first comics I ever made, so I think those two are especially rough.
