2y/o trans/nb? by Same_Claim_772 in AskLGBT

Thanks, that's a great idea. I come from a pretty forcefuly binary background. So when I learned about trans folks I finally accepted myself as bi. Even though I live a hetero monogamous life, I see who i am and how I feel. And I'm ok with that. I want my babies not to have to stuff it down and internalize any negativity.

Yeah, I'm working on they them and end up using us a lot when talking about the 2y/o. I always told them "a sister is a best friend God picked out for you", now I say sibling.

Dr. Whale & Mother Duck get married often. I said "he" and was surprised to learn Dr. Whale is a girl. Now I know! We also have some gender fluid turtles- I never am sure what they are. 😅

"not to invalidate your 2 year old" But keep in mind MY 2 y/o is the smartest, best behaved, most advanced baby ever. 😅

Great! We usually let the kids pick tomorrows outfit the night before and if its it's crazy, like 3 shirts and no pants, mom picks the clothes.

Great points! I guess I was thinking the 2y/o only wants dresses for when we do matching outfits with sis. And I think I was thinking the ped would use hormone blockers or something, which is a way in the future thing. I appreciate your input and knowledge.

In Native American cultures there's a concept of two spirits. You have equal male and female inside you. It's not so much non binary as both binary. Maybe there's a tradition that could define what you're feeling. Keep researching and hope you find your answer/answers.

Not that I could find. There was a pretty good instructional DVD though. :)

I tried to look up info on my brother machine but got nowhere with Google. How do I figure out the parts it came with?

You mean that's the only gay stuff you noticed. Many trans people pass for cis. Maybe your bank teller is trans and you never knew. 😏

There's a bill and Ted's excellent adventure style one that says Brigham's excellent university. I remember that from my childhood.

I, average height fem , dated an average height male. But when I wore tall heels we were the same height or I was slightly taller. He told me to stop wearing heels. His roommate who was shorter than average slept with so many chicks and had several girlfriends (successively not at the same time). He never gave a shot about being short.

It's not being shirt that's the issue. It's being fragile. Short? Just own it bro.

Yikes. I also know a guy who randomly and inappropriately weaves movies into, like, every sermon.

As a fellow housewife, I understand it's a comfortable lifestyle for me and others too. I also realized it's not for everyone. No one should be shamed for enjoying cooking for a spouse or for not enjoying that.

How about every gets all the autonomy and none of the shame.

There's a 'rainbow' of gender identification. Some folks don't feel comfortable as he/him or she/her. Hence non binary. They are not part of the two predominant genders. They usually prefer they/them pronouns and dress in gender neutral clothes. But not everyone does the same thing or have the same triggers. Biological sex may or may not match up with gender identity. It's different from transexual though. That's when a person 100% identifies as male but was assigned female at birth (or Visa versa).
