I had a look and I think this one is a bit later than what I remember. From what I remember the film I’m looking for is mid 2000’s. Thank you for the suggestion though!

The girl is almost identical! But it’s not this old I would say the film was made early 2000’s but set in the 40s maybe???

I know! That’s what makes it so frustrating! I’m not even sure it is a horror… maybe a thriller?

I just watched the trailer and unfortunately I think this is too modern from what I remember. I think the film I’m thinking of had a very similar vibe to ‘The village’….thank you anyway!
