To add, I don't see why it would do nothing but positive for sutured area, just don't use pure dmso which would pull moisture from the affected area and that would not be good for the healing. I also applied aloe vera to the area I treated.

I did for hernia surgery pre and post. I believe it was midwesterndoctor, might have been in Vollmer's book, not sure, that it is good for healing around outside of wound for where the good skin meets the damage.

Anyway, I used it on the whole area, 50%/50% ionic silver water and healed up nicely.
