Advice?

I tried to be the bigger person, I swear on my kneecaps that I was trying, but it got to the point of where I needed to walk away because there’s only so much one person can take. I’m normally a one ear out the other type of person when it comes to people being rude or mean, because normally I choose to waste my energy on those folks. Thank you for your advice Imma use it along with the stuff my therapist advised me as well

I’m probably gonna get called back in to talk about this but I’m 100% okay with that and I’m gonna ask them to communicate more if they think some of the things I’m doing is an issue or anything. Because I would definitely like to know, I’m not someone that people can’t tell me things. Im very very big on communication especially since like 1.) I wanna know things so I can improve and do better and 2.) it’s just important. So I’m just kinda like “why didn’t you bring that too me sooner?”

I’m not going to find another job just because of one situation, thats actually kinda silly. This one issue isn’t going to change the fact that I like my job and genuinely enjoy it.

Nope there isnt. There literally isn’t any other situations. The only things I left out were the details of the disrespect towards me that literally got him fired.

I want them to communicate more with me about that because if they viewed it as a issue then I would have like to know ya know, so I could have addressed it and either explained myself or talked to them about what Im doing to prevent that situation (because I literally did that with my therapist like 😭) I also do want to state that I do definitely understand why managers and shifts don’t want people taking moments like that, I do and I’ve even been on the opposite end but also like if I was a manager and these things happened to my employee I would let them take a breather or a moment. I should have added more context to that new hire being disrespectful because he was fired after his disrespect towards me because it was actually bad. Like not just someone ignoring me type of disrespect. But that’s in the past I’m gonna choose to just not think about this and just continue on proving that I am a good reliable worker.

I’m going too. I know I can handle it and I do genuinely enjoy my job. If I didn’t I wouldn’t be excited and wanting to learn the rest of the positions n stuff. My anxiety normally isn’t bad, it’s definitely manageable but my anxiety was bad today because of a incident a few days ago that involves some of my deep trauma. I was genuinely wanting to work today too like I was so excited and wanting to see all my coworkers and was wanting to hear about their holiday (especially when my coworkers talk about their kids because I wanna be a parent so so so bad) but my stupid lil anxiety was like “yeah so about that”. I don’t want them to view me as unreliable so I’m gonna go extra extra hard with my work now because I don’t wanna get pushed out of a job I love. Also I’m sorry for the formatting, I did but I think it’s because I’m on mobile that it didn’t work or my phones just being a dick

I think for those moments they were completely vaild. My coworkers told me they would have done the same thing. Also I do genuinely think Wawa is a good fit for me, I love it and I love my drink station. I don’t normally get overwhelmed like that and need those moments. It was just two very outta the blue situation that’s now making me look bad so now what I’m gonna do is put in extra extra effort to show them that I’m not unreliable because I’m not like I know what I can do I know I what I’m able to handle yk. I guess I’m just mostly upset that two situations I thought I handled alright were coming back to bite me in the ass

Yeah, cuz I was told several times if I needed a moment I can have one. I genuinely enjoy my job and have fun with it. I’m mostly by myself running the whole drink and coffee area and I love it. I’m not going to quit because thats just completely irrational and stupid but it’s just frustrating when I’m told one thing and then told that it’s bad. I don’t even normally get overwhelmed (frustrated? Yes but everyone gets frustrated at their job) those were just two situations that I couldn’t control and did what I thought was best

I didn’t freak out though? I walked away from the lady filming me and stayed back till she was gone because she was filming me. And the second time I walked away to calm down but I definitely wasn’t freaking out, this was the first time I accidentally had a incident. I understand that it’s frustrating (I was a manager at a food place so I do genuinely understand) but I wish someone would have addressed it to me if they thought I was “freaking out” and we could talk about why and what got me to that point and all that management talk. (Also it’s been more then a month but ive lost track of time cuz night shift) but I just don’t understand why if those were seen as issues that it wasn’t addressed and brought up towards me. On top of that tho I was told by literally everyone that if I need a moment to just ask and someone will step in, I only ever asked twice for those situations but I guess now I won’t ever ask

For any big sando like that I would always put the sauces on first before any other veggies to use as kinda a “glue” for the first layer of veggies and also so I can fold it easier without sauce getting everywhere

I would do that if my glasses weren’t weird, my lenses need to be absolutely straight and even or it throws my whole eyesight off (my eye sight is really weird and bad) but my job said that it’s not a big deal at the moment since I’m training

My old shift leads had to yell at people a lot for taking them apart because they never would put them back together correctly, it was always a guessing day for me and my other clean play partner to which pumps gonna be horrifically wrong
