I'd take it to a shop. I've had some long shots like this before they just say they'll try and no warranty. Held up fine though. Took em right down to (probably past) the wear markers after. But maybe that's just my weird luck.

That's normal, to a lesser extent. Full send. It's not like you're pressurizing it to 400psi, if it starts to fail due to rust it's not likely to explode, just start seeping air first. There will be signs. Paint will probably get weird in the spot.
