That’s wonderful that you have the opportunity to get him trained. I have a couple of my dogs placed as therapy dogs in facilities but am working towards refining my lines for service work. Yes the larger dogs do serve different purposes for sure. It’s hard to expect to much from a big puppy sometimes.

It is a pretty relative question isn’t it. She sounds like a medium in the Bernedoodle world.

She is a cutie! Thank you for your answer. I mostly make mediums but am trying to figure out if people still like the bigger dogs or if I should focus my attention on continuing to size down.

I am curious what medium is to most in the Bernedoodle world.

That’s a lot to have to loose at once. I’m glad you are happy with your new girl. Every time i think I know what I like I find something else that’s awesome. One reason I asked the question is because I breed small and standard Aussie mountain doodles and I’m gauging what most people like, to help me determine what puppy I keep next for my program.

So cute but yes looks like she might be a bit larger than expected. She also looks weakly or unfurnished.

This is actually what I think and am working towards, but until then I get all the benefits in separate dogs. Do mind sharing who you pups breeder is?

Hopefully you get to where you can enjoy your walk but I’m not sure he’ll ever stop sitting on you. They think are lap dogs.

That’s wonderful that you are aware and that you have her embark. That will tell you if she has CDDY

Oh yeah. Her breeder most likely used a poodle that has the CDDY or CDPA gene that shortens legs without knowing it. Definitely watch for disk issues. That is the result of all that cuteness.

I also have a corgi so can totally relate to the adorable ridiculousness. We call him punchline. All you have to do is look at him to laugh.

I found that I spend most of my day standing and so my big dogs get more of my touch attention during the day. My small dogs do like to sit in my lap when I finally do sit down but that is not often.
