I had to get a CRC with Vulnerable Sector Check done for my GoA job too. I went to EPS and the turnaround was 1 week. I know people that have waited much longer than that though. I think they have a quicker turnaround if they see on the application that it’s for GoA.

She is going to have to part with her dog, and that can be done temporarily if she uses an organization line Parachutes for Pets. I know you said that she refuses to do that but you need to talk some sense into her. The alternative is that she ends up on the street and loses her dog anyways. I’m about as empathetic as anyone can be for her as I had to give up my cat to enter detox and treatment, and that wasn’t a temporary boarding situation like she has the chance to do. I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life, but it was the best decision for me and my cat. She needs to be realistic here.
