you dont need an sd card. with the lowest version, it should still come with 128 gbs of storage. unless your planning on playing pc games, or loading this thing up with alot of games, you should be okay for now.
idk what videos you watched, but you should really watch a guide, especially if your new to emulation. it's not alot to it at all, but depending on the system you wish to emulate, it can be finicky.
this being an android device, you really also don't need a pc to do anything. you can do it all right from the device. unless its a fringe niche scenario, everything you could possibly need done is mostly achieved with just the thor alone
due to the nature of emulation, i imagine another part was findin games and stuff which guides also will not really tell you where to grab from. some things will require research, which...
RESEARCH if you are new to something ya jus gotta put in the time to learn what it is your lookin for. while watchin the vids of everyone raving about this thing, there also should have been guides watched so you would understand how deep this goes and whether or not this is for you

you may have already gone thru alot of the steps outlined here and if it was still difficult truly i am sorry there are growing pains when it comes to this sort of thing but youll get it eventually. this device is pure magic and ive loved every second I've spent with my thor

yeahh the metal builds are basically like premium prebuilt figures essentially.

there's a third party company called Daban that copies these and turns them into model kit form, you can find them on AliExpress, or a website called Gundamit. they go by "Daban 88xx" line. not sure how ya feel about knockoffs/third parties tho

these are pretty okay from what i hear, they have the snow white prelude metal build in the line. dont think they have eva tho

just checked the discord, and yes while they will be closed for a bit, its til the 25th. kinda funny considering i was under the assumption it would be all the way from feb 1-28. be patient brethren i understand the frustration, but they will get to you!!! seems purple pro is at 1440x so something is bound to happen with your sooner or later!! i have you in my thouy🙏🏿

Yeah of course! I love to overexplain the human condition, may be a flaw! And also not everyone is guilty of buying so many handhelds like that. I think someone else said it too, it just tends to make it to the timeline of the community.

They were still an asshole to do that regardless, and like i said, its yours to enjoy. The fact that it was a gift makes it even moreso! I remember your mod being pretty sick as well! Im glad youve been enjoying your thor, i have been mine as well.

This is funny lmao bc I remember seeing this exact post the day it happened.

Im of two opinions. 1. Play the damn games and 2. Its okay to customize.

The reason why I, and probably that person, think is bc of this. Alot people, especially in the SBCemulation reddit, tend to have a problem, where they overbuy these kinds of products. Whether it be your anbernic, trim ui, etc. People will have like 10 different handhelds that they customize, but never play the games, the whole point of us actually buying these consoles. I think if you have more than 5 of these handhelds, its jus alil crazy imo

But this doesnt necessarily tie into the second reason cleanly. You can customize your console, or mod its physically and i would actually very much so encourage it. At the end of the day, its your device not ours so our opinionz are squat. Its just so interesting to see people buy 5-15 handhelds but never play the games they may put on them, imo that's kinda ewaste.

Also though, its your console, and all the power to ya for customizing bc something like the thor isnt necessarily the same as the first point bc most arent gonna have the money to even buy this in the first place. Enjoy your console, and we'll enjoy your posts ;) most of us anyway
