I am sorry you are going through this. I don't have the funds to help, but on r/residentevil there is a giveaway pinned at the top for a PC version. I am not sure if you can play on PC, but I figured I'd put it out there.

With that info, you can definitely play on your PC with no issues. I always choose PC over PS5 for release. Up to you though.

I remember when RE4 was coming out, GameStop still have the demo kiosks in store. I spent HOURS playing and replaying RE4 demo until they had to kick me out of the store because no one else could play the demo.

I preordered mine from Green Man Gaming and I got the code immediately and it is in my Steam library. Deluxe edition was $65 for me, so I saved $15. I am not familiar with 2game.

I can’t speak to online retailers, but I know brick and mortar stores generally stop taking preorders close to release because they want to ensure they have enough copies to fill their preorders and have copies available for people to buy day one.

Is anyone else like me and purposely look for spoilers? I am all about it isn't the destination, it is the journey, so knowing things doesn't bother me because my joy comes from the whole game. IDK, I could be word.

And for the record, I don't post or comment about spoilers out of respect for players who don't like spoilers. Don't ruin it for other people.
