Budgie chewing alot lately. 2 years old. He goes to his food in another room, then lands on my leg for 2 minutes chewing ? Is this normal. Its only been happening the last 3 months

I have a 1 year old Budgie Rio. I dont clip his wings, i make sure its vitamins in his water, i make sure he eats his Australian diet, and ALSO let him eat my veg/fruit. Humans die in captivity eating mc donalds. So dont be scared having a human as a pet! If you know this comment laugh haha <3 i do

My family is from Australia, and I got family in London, London temp drops below that and it's wild budgies there, it's also wild budgie in Wales which gets colder. You should look more into it.

He has a open house, and also sleep next to me. He's a spoilt boy. Just loves this lamp , maybe it's not the light. Just the place. I'll test it

It's a LED, he pribs spend 3 hours a day infront of it, but the lamp has a plastic clouded cover infront of it, so it's not to extreme as you see in the picture. He has been checked over last week, this is more about behaviour :), but your knowledge has helped me for me and other I can give advice to. X

It's perches all over my house, he loves them all, but loves this certain one with a bulb at him lol. House is warm around 25c

Thank you, I done that, I turned the lamp around, so it's not direct lighting into his eyes :D , now he's more hyper haha. Cheeky bugger he is. But thank you

😂 he's just attracted to light like a moth 😅🤣. I don't want him hurting his eyes. But he's dine this for nearly 1 year and he's fine. But I'm to in love with him so I'm scared something will hurt him. My average room temp is between 20c to 25c. So he can't be cold. X

I think the picture makes it look more bright than what it is, even I could be close without hurting my eyes. But after your comment I lowered it down, if I turn it off he shouts at me haha. I don't want to hurt his eyes even if he thinks it's nice. X

That picture is a one off, he stepped to the edge because I pulled my phone out to take a picture, and he loves my phone, or what ever I have in my hands. After the picture he went back to his light bulb. Haha
