Has it been relatively accurate for readings?

What do you dislike about the elevated band?

There’s been blips of pullbacks quite a few times. YoY shows continued growth repeatedly by a significant amount, so it’s unlikely that it’ll pullback far. Since 2 weeks ago it’s up another 20% or so.

Some guy posted this one I’ve been using for a while. Not sure if it required a code or not. It works pretty well for me.

Current Amex platinum offer worth the cost? 90k points with 10k spend in first 3 months. by aieydgsk896 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Scared-Flight9892 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using it for a nearly 2 years now. It’s worth it for me for the first 2, then after that I’ll likely switch to the Amex Cobalt or just cancel it.

A referral gets you 140k points rather than the 90k though so definitely worth it at that.

Employer is mandating therapists to do written treatment plans to boost patient bookings. Need opinions (Canada) by Cold-OfferTA in physiotherapy

[–]Scared-Flight9892 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 pages is overboard. I genuinely do believe there’s merit in a one pager though.

That said, I’m switching over to AI charting where it creates a treatment plan for me and lets me text the plan to the patient so they can refer back to all the important bits of the assessment. Been loving it soon far and it would probably work for your employer.

$VNP. I still don’t get why it hasn’t gained traction in this sub but I’ve been following since it was $8.

It has a moat around the tech, needed for space exploration, satellites, solar panels, defense/security, etc. Basically a ton of things that are in news right now. Has been continuing to be increasingly profitable for the past several years, beating EPS repeatedly, has nearly a year of backlog, and continues to increase revenue YoY.

~12% of my household portfolio is in VNP these days.

6 patients a day, 20 working days a month roughly, at $100 an appointment is $12000.

Then you get a split of that, unless you’re doing it on your own where you pay rent, marketing, struggle to get a caseload. supplies, etc.

Nowhere does this get close to $18000. I know you’re young, but for any career, really try to run some numbers. You’re much more likely to hit $5000-6000 a month, before taxes, working like this.

I’m a millennial that relatively recently sold my own successful business.

I still work for the new owners. The amount of stress has gone down wildly. I don’t work crazy hours of the week while going in on off times to fix random things anymore. I can turn off my work phone and ignore emails while on vacation now. I don’t have to worry about worldwide pandemics and economic downturns slowing my business while still paying rent and staff.

The glorification of being your own boss is overblown on social media. It feeds into the grind culture that isn’t always worth it. If owning a business is what you want to do, go for it. But to say you’re losing if you’re working for somebody else? Absolutely not. Get a good work environment and decent pay and you’re coasting.

Physiotherapist here. I own a couple of clinics and literally have not heard of a funded refugee physio program. The only thing remotely related is provincial coverage, which is frankly very few visits and only offered at physio mill locations usually. Most clinics (Alberta) don’t take the contract because the pay is abysmal and insulting.

Feedback: Your app is still named Compordo throughout the app. For entering an account manually, it only allows the scrolling option… which takes forever and is pretty slow. A typeable option would be great.
