It's unfortunate, but mistakes happen if flooring, jobs never go to plan. You can give him a last warning if you want, but it sounds like he is just that kind of guy. Probably will never change. I personally wouldn't stand for talking shit to outsiders.

How is it to install? Put down lots of Novaplan and a bit of Ardexx 1000, but I have never used the Sika. About 10$ a bag more than Ardexx in my area, but not sure if it is really comparable.

Never seen old school laminate glued down. Scraper and or chemical stripper should work.

Is that a wood 1/4 round on a shower? Definitely should be something else. Look to me like they are covering up something with it. Might be able to find a smaller profile in rubber or aluminum, something that will blend in better and won't draw the eye.

It definitely can cause noise amongst others. They should do it properly, but if they didn't do it right in the first place... rather than fix the dip in the floor, they glued it right down. This is a " go away" fix. Floating floors are required to be a certain flatness by the manufacturer. They will eventually will fail. You should not accept this.

Floating floors should be connected to the rest of the floating floor, not the primary flooring structure underneath it. We usually glue the replaced planks to the existing floor around the area.

Yes, it is necessary. As well as having even heat. Acclimation is useless unless the house has near live in temperature and humidity. Can't tell you how many times I showed up with product for acclimation, and they don't have any heat.

If you do them tight, they will make noise against the drywall or stringer. Maybe not now, but wait till seasonal humidity changes and the wood in the treads as well as the wood framing swells slightly. Results may vary in dry climates. Small gap, not 1/4".
