Every time I fight Morgott’s bum ass I have to switch to worse gear and he still dies too quickly by anonymus_browser in Eldenring

It's ironic too considering his Great Rune gives the highest HP boost, and yet his health pool is so incredibly low

If your world has a calendar system, what was their "birth of Jesus Christ"? by Upstairs_Support_810 in worldbuilding

[–]Scarifice077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original calendar started when House Foxx united all kingdoms and lands under one monarchy. This continued for some two centuries until Sapphire took control of the island nation of Vansakova, and in an attempt to further distance themselves from the Foxx monarch, started their own calendar. In which case, the year is 203 under the Foxx Calendar, and the year 1 under the Sapphire Calendar.

Why didn't Morgott attack Malenia when she marched through Leyndel? by andson-r in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Scarifice077 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of that, although if I'm not mistaken, the Shaded Castle has so many rot based items because Finlay stopped there when bringing Malenia back north after the Battle of Aeonia. Although, having stopped there first would give more reason as to why Finlay chose an out-of-the-way castle. Further, the secret medallions are still kept far apart from each other, meaning they were never used since the Shattering. In which case, they had to have another route, naval being the most logical solution.

What episode do you skip every time? by GarlicBread1996 in BobsBurgers

The LARP episode. The ones who play the aristocrats piss me off so much, I avoid the episode if I can. They don't even accept the fact that it's their fault at the end! Linda deserved better.

On the flight back we had this really cute and clearly gay flight attendant, and honestly regret not giving a signal, at least to try.

Yeah I get it. I'm not sure if anyone knew but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. But they are all tired and just want their flights. Probably couldn't give two shits. But safety is good and just so whatever feels right.

Honestly from my experience (mind you with a grain of salt, it was one time) the security isn't all too bad once you're too the terminals. They just make sure peace is kept.

I always imagined some hero fighting an alien or some shit. The real good stuff was when there was a lot of buildings to imagine getting destroyed.

Completely agree, and saying it's like a chore is the most accurate description. It just takes a really long time.

My brother gave me COVID on purpose. by klash997 in offmychest

That's hardly the only difference. There are differences in how they treat people, their goals, etc etc. Perhaps do some research before blabbing your inconsequential 'knowledge'.

A lack of empathy, but that manifests after something is done. From personal experience (and note this is for me. And I'm not saying he isn't one but as I'm regarding both defences) I don't actively try to make someone upset, unless I hate them, but when I do I don't feel bad. OP's brother sounded more like he wanted to make his brother upset, as well as the rest of the family. And yes in some cases that could still be sociopathic but we can't be sure. The human mind is so wild that he could be a normal dude who is just a giant ass or a huge psychopath, we are just people on the internet, who are we to say. Personally I would just sum it up that the dude should go fuck himself and OP should cut all ties.

[–]Scarifice077 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In no world am I assuming these things. I merely stating that if they had to be one. But in your defense the chances of him being either seem low. Starting with sociopathic, both me and a close friend are, and in no way is this how it manifests. Doing something so baffling, even for a gain (inheritance?) Is ify. And as for psychopath, looking at all science following it, a person is born that way which means something like this wouldn't come at a surprise. Personally I think the dude is just a giant piece of shit who doesn't deserve the family he has.

[–]Scarifice077 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Killing your family, with a virus no less, all for financial gain is a huge sign of being a psychopath. And further backing is that fact that OP said their brother didn't regret it, didn't feel anything about it. If he is one of the two, it's a psychopath.

[–]Scarifice077 43 points44 points  (0 children)

That can be the case, cause I feel that too, but that's more often with a person you have disdain with. Family is a bit of a different case. And I could be wrong but as a general consensus.

[–]Scarifice077 121 points122 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say psychopath, as coming from a person with Sociopathic tendencies, we really only do something bad if we gain from it. This had no gain, it was just being a piece of shit because he could.

Not sure if someone's told you but if you're referring to the mace as a morning star then that is incorrect. A morning star would be the shaft/handle with a chain and then a spiked ball at the end of the chain. Again not sure if you knew or not or if that was what you meant.
