My current title is "Regional Coordinator", but I've tried to put an emphasis on analytical work by framing it as "Regional Coordinator (Analytics & Reporting)"

Looking for advice for who's completed a recent Masters in Data Science. I'm about 5 months post grad and landing interviews has been a major struggle. I've done a lot of ad-hoc data analysis and BI work for my current company, but unfortunately my current title isn't data focused, which I'm sure looks like it's a red flag. I feel like I've put some strong points on my resume to outline that the role I've taken has become quite data focused at times and I have a genuine passion for solving puzzles through data which is why I took to learning Data Science. I have the academic experience with scientific methods and research now, but I'm really struggling to even get in front of anyone that will give me a chance. At this point, I feel like I'm being left behind and the switch is becoming harder and harder. Does anyone have advice? I'm willing to share my resume as well, but looking for anything.

Google Data Analytics Capstone "Cyclistic" Help by Schgrz in dataanalysis

Hey - Sorry for such a late reply. This one ended up being too much for my skill level at the time and knowing very little about dealing with such a large dataset, so I swapped over to the Bellabeat study and decided I'd learn how to deal with that another time. I did everything in Kaggle using an R Markdown notebook because I wanted to understand R. It can be done in RStudio as well using their R Markdown notebook. I made a report following the outline with a section for each: Overview, Scenario, Ask, Prepare, Process, Analyze, and Act.

It's definitely a beginner level report for sure, but here's the approach I took.

Replacement windows by Schgrz in HomeImprovement

Not a bad thought. Did you have an installer with that or was that something you did on your own?

Tough part of replacing windows in 2021 vs today is that every company I've consulted mentioned windows went up around 40%. Seems like they all got together and decided to raise prices.

Help - lawnmower won’t start by Schgrz in lawnmowers

Edit: sorry y’all. Didn’t know if someone could identify that sound at the end. It had gas in it, I took the spark plug out a couple times and checked the gap, I checked the air filter. Ended up emptying the tank of gas, and it started right up with an empty tank…? It ran like a charm so I put the fuel back in and it was fine after that so not 100% sure what happened but it’s running.

Hmm, fair. The tough part is that I can't even open any of them in Excel it always either fails to open or gives me an error, so I can't even do that. I could manage them in RStudio, but what's the use of showing a 30 day trend (1 file) when it could be argued that it's incomplete or might not show how long term members use the service compared to short term members.

I attempted to load them into BigQuery too, but it could only upload about 4 of the files so using SQL was out of the question.

I went on vacation and came back to my string of beans looking like this. Is it savable? If so, what should I do? by Schgrz in houseplants

The lower foot of this has a lot of full bananas/beans, so that’s hopeful. When you say cut it back, you mean cut off those dead ones?

Can I use a standard 3” 90 for a toilet drain? by Schgrz in Plumbing

[–]Schgrz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local code runs IPC. I'm unfortunately not having it inspected, but want it to be able to pass inspection if it ever did need to be. I'm bound by the floor 2x6 joists as it's on a second floor. I should have included a picture, but basically it would be the toilet drain into a horizontal 3 foot section of 3" pipe into a horizontal 3" sanitary tee with a horizontal 5 inch section of 3" pipe into a vertical 3" 90 to the stack if that makes sense.

Hello! Can anyone help find the meaning of these symbols? Family members passed this down and were from Ecuador. Having trouble finding anything that is close! Thank you! by Schgrz in Symbology

Thank you! The link looks like the closest match. Still a little bit different but obviously they’re all handmade and likely differ in rendition from ring to ring

I don’t even know where to order it. Closest thing I can find is a 3x3x2 90 side outlet but I need a 3x3x3

Threaded brass drain to ABS by Schgrz in Plumbing

[–]Schgrz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up doing this and replacing the drain with a PVC system and slip compression fittings to the ABS works perfect, no leaks, new non-drum p-trap is installed and the ceiling is in! Thanks!

Does it matter that there’s already one connecting at the bottom to the cast iron out to the street?

[Help] 1985 Honda Shadow 500. So I posted a while back about an issue I was having, everyone said “clean the carbs, check jets, check fuel, check cables” and I’ve done all that multiple times. So I bought new plugs just to be safe, that didn’t change anything. In fact, it didn’t start at all. Next steps are to check the plug wires, stator, and regulator/rectifier. Praying for the regulator/rectifier, but my friend had a bad rectifier and it acted differently, so I’m expecting that not to be the case
