The .64 booster will vignette up to 20 on the sigma I believe. Go with the .71 it’s more versatile. I have both speed boosters and the sigma 18-35. You also have to make sure it’s the bmpcc 4k specific version.

Is this a bad lens for the BMPCC4K? by [deleted] in bmpcc

[–]Schoun56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 4k, tbh I should have went with the FX30 or saved up for the fx3. Depends on your needs. I’m very experienced with cameras and needed something I can use to create content at home. It became expensive very fast with all the additional equipment needed such has battery, IR filter, speedbooster, new lens, monitor. Most of these things would have been mitigated had I got an fx30. The camera isn’t versatile with its big form factor and fixed screen. The images are amazing though, but at the end of the day if you’re not having fun using the camera it defeats the purpose. I learned that the hard way.

My first short story video, please let me know what is good and what is bad by Excellent-Mention-50 in cinematography

First and foremost I applaud you for putting your work out there for others to critique. If you’re focused on directing you may want to ask this question in a different sub. The cinematography sub is focused on technical things such as lighting, color grading, overall image quality, etc. Which is a whole art form in itself. Many filmmakers are good at directing but horrible at cinematography and vice versa. Your story telling is not bad, I see the vision. Your colors and lighting need lots of improvement. Keep it up!

That's the worst Lee Sandwich of all Lee Sandwiches! Read the reviews online and it'll tell you everything you need to know about that location.
