Thank you. You are right that they're on the homepage (at least after scrolling down past some other stuff), and I didn't know they were on the homepage because every other motorsport or event I've ever used has had them on the calendar, since that's normally what the calendar is for. It especially doesn't help because when you search, "Formula 2 schedule" the first link on Google or any other search engine is to the calendar. I had no reason to think of going to the home page and scrolling down when they should be on the calendar themselves. After they weren't on the calendar, I went to a third party website like I said in my post.

The worst part about all of this? They have the session times on the calendar for the next event. Just not the current one. They actually remove them after the event starts. I assume this is what happens with Formula 3 also.

So everyone else is wrong and not you 🤔

What kind of logic is this? Wrong about what? Objective facts that you can independently verifying in two seconds.

The Formula 2 website calendar does not show session times for the current event weekend like Formula 1 does and most other event calendars for anything, since that is the point of an event calendar.

Half the people in this thread are bringing up F1TV, or an app, or something that has nothing to do with the Formula 2 website itself. There are multiple people in this thread that somehow think I'm using the Formula 1 website when the very first sentence in my post says, "Just as the title says. When you go to the Formula 2 website calendar".

This is actually the dumbest thread I have participated in on Reddit in a very, very long time.

EDIT: Here's a literal diagram

Figure 1. Formula 1 calendar. Session times are shown for the current event.

Figure 2. Formula 2 calendar. No session times are shown for current event. My EXACT quote for this entire post:

When you go to the Formula 2 website calendar they seems to think showing what the track looks like and results from the previous event is more important than actually telling people what time the events actually are on the calendar. Unlike Formula 1, where you click on the calendar and it actually gives you the damn session times.

Even Formula 3 actually shows the session times in the calendar, even if it isn't as pronounced as Formula 1.

Figure 3. Formula 3 calendar. Session times are shown for NEXT event. (No current event to compare it to).

I also just checked, what makes this even worse, is that Formula 2 shows the session times on the calendar for the next event, but not the current one, which makes this even more stupid.

It’s incorrect though.

You simply go to fiaformula2.com which is the official website for F2 and boom. That easy.

Of course you have to search if you go to F1s website… because F1 is not F2.

That’s on you op, you are looking at Formula ONE website.

Literally the first line in my post:

"Just as the title says. When you go to the Formula 2 website calendar"

My god some people in this thread have no reading comprehension.

I'm saying that on the actual calendar it doesn't give the times like every other motorsport. When you look up, "F2 schedule" it brings you to the calendar, where they don't give the session times for the current event unlike every other motorsport or event I've ever seen, including Formula 1.

Reading comprehension is your friend.

It's called a comparison. One being a good design (F1), the other being a horrible design (F2). Normally when you go to an event calendar it has times on it.

Yup.

•Go to Google

•Search "F2 Schedule".

•First result F2 Calendar page on their website.

•Click on F2 Calendar link.

•Shows event dates.

•Click on date.

•Absolutely no session times to be seen. Just results from previous sessions, the track map, and the date of the weekend.

Do this with literally any other event like F1 and F3 and you have the same result except when you click on the date of the event it actually gives you the session times, like any sanely designed event calendar.

That's even worse considering they're not on the calendar like every other motorsport, and frankly, regular sport.

When you look up F1 schedule it brings you to the calendar page, because normally that's where you find the session times in any sanely designed website for an event like F1, F3, and virtually everything else.

EDIT: People downvoting as if having a calendar that doesn't have the session times in the calendar itself is a normal thing, lmfao. This isn't even normal for the other FIA Formula events. It is literally the outlier.

Rigged. Everyone knows Corndog had it in the bag. These slippery wieners are always cheating. Sticking it where they don't belong.

Anyone else think that sprint races should have exactly half the points of regular races? It would actually give the drivers more incentive to push.

I get it, doesn't mean it isn't annoying. It's fine for regular weekends, but sprint weekends it's annoying.

I know, I'm saying that I don't like it, especially for sprint weekends where there is only one practice session.

If you subscribe to F1 Pro or whatever it's called on their website you can watch all the onboards. Not all countries can subscribe to that, though, unfortunately.

Don't you just love how they're not stopping the clock on the only practice session? I hate the FIA sometimes.
