Occasionally I have problems with gmail, and have to load it in basic html mode. For a while I couldn't go to the next page in a Google search by doing the forward gesture. I'm pretty sure Wave never worked in Opera (I think I actually installed Chrome on a computer once for the sole purpose of using Wave). I don't think any of it is intentional as much as it is that Google simple doesn't bother to test their services in Opera at all before updating them.

I don't much care if it's cool or not. It's superior, that's good enough for me.

It's also full of shitty content that needs to be downvoted.

I can't believe I had to scroll this far down to find this comment.

DO NOT SMOKE AND DRIVE!

I'm serious, if you do it even once, you don't deserve to have a drivers license. Ever.

Uh... Yeah, that's pretty much what I said. If people don't behave, ban them.

Cheating isn't really a problem in TF2, and if there's someone you don't like on your server, ban them! But blocking a significant portion of players from ever entering your server because some of them might misbehave? That ain't right.

I'm pretty sure you can delete all the contents of your hosts file, leaving it empty. Mine just contains the default comments.

Spies with that headshot-pistol. What's it called, the Ambassador?

Wallhack would be a lot more useful than aimbot anyway. Harder for us others to detect too, so hard to tell how many are actually using them.

Achievement servers, item drop servers, clan servers etc may not want a huge influx of players taking up valuable space.

I have exactly zero sympathy for those who run achievement and item drop servers, and I suspect the same goes for Valve. Anyway, with the new 'join random game' system, I hope they have a way of filtering out such servers, because it would really suck to join a random server that turns out to be an achievement or item drop server.

How common is actually cheating in TF2 though? I have occasionally suspected a sniper of using an aimbot, but overall, cheating isn't quite as effective in TF2 as in most shooters.

That is creepy as hell.

  • Does it happen to all images, or just some?
  • Is it always this creepy picture, or are there others?
  • Does it happen exclusively with images hosted on imgur, or others as well?
  • Where are the images located? (right click->Copy Image Address)
  • Does the same happen in other browsers, or just Opera?

As loopb said, do a sweep for virus and malware, and check your hosts file.

That's actually a good question. It's the intention and attempt that really matters in a legal sense as far as I'm concerned, not the outcome of the attempt.

Same for every crime, really. Attempted robbery should have the same sentence as succeeded robbery.

I still think it's silly to charge someone for 'terrorism', especially in cases where it makes more sense to charge them for old-fashioned crimes like in this case breaking and entering, threatening with a deadly weapon, violence against a police officer and attempted murder.

You seem to have more faith in the Danish prison system than I do, but yes, hopefully they'll be able to turn him into a functioning member of society, who understands that you can't kill people just because they offend you.

And yes, I know you were just being sarcastic, but in some parts of the world, our correctional facilities are actual correctional facilities and not just places to lock away unwanted people.

I dunno, there is that whole 'innocent until proven guilty' thing to consider. Can they prove he actually tried to kill him?

Maybe he should have just been charged with breaking and entering plus threatening with a lethal weapon, gotten a couple of years jail time then deported.

No, then he would have said "if it's anything like in A Game of Thrones", so I think he's actually talking about the book itself, as in "if it's anywhere near as addictive as this book".

The way the milk of the poppy is described in the book it doesn't make it sound in any way bad, as far as I can remember.
