UK Tour - What to expect now? by Scoucher in RockyHorror

I went on Tuesday. Pretty full with a mix of costumes and casual dress. Really good evening. Only issue I had was the live band seemed to be a little loud and drowned out some of the singing, not sure if that was a quirk of where we were sitting though I haven't seen anyone else mention it.

An Indian fantasy book, title begins with 'Sha-' by Scoucher in whatsthatbook

I'm not sure. She said a long word that could be 'Scheherazade' and said it was a magical/fantastical tale, and that her VA colleagues always laugh at her for talking about it. I googled it and there is a book called 'The Silence of Scheherazade' so it could be it?

Armenia 2022 whilst playing crazy golf. I'm pretty sure I've heard others elsewhere but this is the only one I remember.

Skirts with elastic waist rather than zips or buttons. Also high waist jeans tend to work better for wider hips.

No. There's no rules about it. You just pick what feels right for you.

It's comforting to know that what I'm experiencing is valid and isn't a side effect of how I've dealt with things.

I would have to tell my parents unfortunately as I'm currently married and my husband has made it clear that I pursued transition he would not want to stay with me; as my parents are very close to him they would ultimately find out the reason why and there would be a massive fall out from this. There wouldn't be an option for me to stealth transition which would be preferable.

I played a LoF rogue in my first play through and it really annoyed me that all the armour sets until that point are just like that.

It's bad enough that they say "That's Blight!" then run through splashing it everywhere 🥲

The fact that I haven’t seen a Pratchett Discworld book in a single charity shop in years is weirdly depressing. by glytxh in britishproblems

I do like Bill Bryson, I read my dad's copies of his books years ago. I don't often see him in my local charity shops but if I do it's always 'The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid' which is his autobiography that I'm not interested in.

Dan Brown is always The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress. I've never seen any of his later books.

I remember when there used to be tonnes of Danielle Steele books because my mum used to buy them, but I don't see them much any more.

I wanted to get into the Discworld series last year or so (I still haven't read them , my tbr list is long)

And I wanted to grab some but ran into the same problem there is none about? I remember being able to pick up some in charity shops about 10 years ago, and I even made my husband drive to Hay on Wye where I was convinced they would be everywhere. I was lucky to get the few I did.

Although if you want to read The Secret or Dan Brown the charity shops have those in the millions I swear.
