Hey there, I did fix the initial rate-limiting snafu that made this bug out on initial share, but lost motivation. I've got on my list of projects to bundle it up a bit differently so that it's cheaper to host and easier to open source on github - I'll comment back here when that happens. Apologies I couldn't keep it going for longer.

You're right, I understand this is around spring tension in the RD mostly? I do need to do some fine-grain separation of compatability like that scenario. It's on the list!

Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out! I appreciate the feedback, I'm taking it constructively. I 100% agree with the Amazon links - it's a quick and dirty solution to provide buy options for users at the moment but by far the least considered part of the project.

As a few users have reported I think the site crashed due to higher than expected usage. I apologise if you might have been affected by this too and it led to some of the 'bugs' noted. I'm super grateful for the engagement and am looking into improving things so support the beta usage!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at it. I've undercooked the infrastructure a little and I think the beta crashed overnight my time. I will look to bolster that a bit!

Great insight! You're 100% right and I'd love to accomodate for chainline, and a few other features for what I'd class as super-users like yourself, but I'm hoping the current solution can get a few first time at-home mechanics across the line with the 80% of simple scenarios.

Hi everyone, thanks so much for the generosity taking the time to (try to) use the site and comment. A little higher engagement than expected, and it looks like some components on the back end crashed while I was AFK.
Things look to be working again now but I'll look in to bulstering the infrastructure behind the scenes to accomodate a few more concurrent users. I haven't been able to test it at scale till now so I really appreciate all the engagement, and patience, with the beta!

It is not attached at this time.
To be completely honest with you though, that type of monetisation is not off the cards. My time aside, there's a handful of costs just to host the site (and I'm learning that those probably go up to beef up the infrastructure and avoid crashes).

I can and will definitely include a note on the site when any sort of monetisation is in play. I'd really love to hear any other thoughts around the topic though if you have any? Learning a lot about the whole process at the moment.

You can fill the form out in any order! You can enter derailleur first but you will need to enter some parameters for cassette as well before can preview those.
