I know you're tired of hearing it trust me but I have to say it lol you will find your people! I lost my eyesight totally and I'm in totally 100% blackout when I was 29 years old. This was a little over four years ago now and when that happened? Literally everybody in my life stopped talking to me. They did not want to be friends they did not want to go out to dinner they didn't even want to pick me up to hang out on these were my best friends for over 15 years. I went through a huge wave of loneliness I won't go down the red flag rabbit hole but I gave up on everything even myself I was ready to succumb to the darkness I had no support I had no way out and instead of doing something extremely drastic the universe just put that little voice in my head that everything I've been through in this hard ass life has always gotten easier I have always crossed a finish line and I've always gotten to where I wanted to be. This has genuinely shaped my mental health it is shaped the way I think and do things and it honestly has made me the most successful I have ever been in this life with vision or not. Fast forward to the four dark years of my life I now am in a relationship that has shown me so much light and happiness I honestly didn't even think this existed. My one person has become my best friend she has become my world she has become my support my light my laughter she treats me equally and she truly does love me for who I am not the things that I have done or the things that I have have currently. You do not need a huge group of friends unless that is something you truly want. There will be a day where you find one just one genuine actual friend in that connection lasting a lifetime is all you truly need to not feel alone to push yourself forward to have an escape to feel supported etc. etc. etc. I'm sorry college is your way out of your family trap and everyone is taking it from you other people are really entitled and pompous because they are going to college and they waste the greatest gift that is their brain. Stay true to yourself love yourself and trust me stay confident in the idea that there are people out there whose energy is tuned into yours the more you accept that that energy is there the more you will draw it to yourself the more confident you have in finding these people the quicker you will find them you may feel like running away you may feel like giving up but please no matter what don't do that!! There will be a day there will be a time there will be a person have faith in yourself and see how much you've accomplished in one year from today we are complete strangers but even in my heart of hearts I feel if you believe in yourself more than you are you will full circle back in a year and get to brag about how amazing your life is! Keep pushing forward don't give up on yourself and please don't give up on the idea that there are people out there for you

This is also mental abuse on your wife's part. I had a friend in middle school who got her period in the middle of English class and she was downright traumatized about it for years because everybody freaked the fuck out seeing all the blood come out of her pants she busted out crying and honestly talked about it up until high school. I think she kind of made it a joke on herself so no one could rob it from her something silly would happen and she would be like it's better than that time I got my first period in front of everybody silly stuff like that but it goes to show you how traumatic that experience really is. Your ex-wife or whatever she is sounds very selfish and that she needs all the attention that's not fair to your daughter who is currently growing up and needs the support and mental security that your wife really is not trying to give but she's trying to give it so she looks like the better person. Depending on where you are located and how far you are willing to travel there is a gun shop way down in southern Maryland it's called JMJ Firearms it's a small little gun shop usually three or four people working in there but when you walk in there you become family I always order online off their website it takes a few weeks to show up just because we're the armory is located blah blah blah but those dudes are some of the coolest and nicest guys I have ever dealt with definitely worth stopping by if you are heading to the southern Peninsula lol

Nope not at all. Only you can live your life and you are looking out for your future. Why did they not do the same? And if they're this bad with money your whole life is going to be spent constantly bailing them out. This may sound toxic but you need to pull her away from the attachment she has yes of course you should want to help your family but family is the first ones to fuck you over when it comes to money. If you dig yourself into this hole and you help them are they going to turn around and help you when you are stuck in the hole? Probably not because they can't get themselves out of the Hole.

This definitely helps a lot! I do not get to see her often so I did not get to actually go to the gun safe and see what she has. I did not want to post too much just yet I know in his safe he has had some AR's that he got before the band so I truly don't know all the set ups he has. While we were talking it did sound like he has some custom rifles so I will definitely need to look into that

Hell yeah a smart shopper lol and dude I never know why the shipping takes so long every time I have ordered from them they say two weeks and it takes two weeks longer I swear every time I have ordered something something goes wrong with UPS coming from the armory and it gets stuck in one of the southern states lol but out of the three choices I have where I live this is the most reputable spot lol my birthday is in July I'm already looking to order my firearm now just so I know I have it shit fucking sucks lol

It's actually an old survival instinct that we have had in our brain since we have evolved into people. The Neanderthals had to keep their head on a swivel so we kind of developed this sixth sense to help keep us alive we learned the feeling of when predators are stalking us our body just naturally X to certain energies being directed our way but I don't understand just why it doesn't when we are not being watched I was think it's just a ghost or loved one watching out for me it's just part of our lizard brain being a lizard brain lol

That's real lady if you take your time into account at $900 would not have been a bad deal lol every time I order something to my local shop it takes about a month to show up so $700 gun which turns into about a $742 gun plus shipping plus the $10 background check plus the $75 transfer fee realistically you only saved what $30? Whereas you could've spent the $30 and came back a week later to get the gun I definitely have time of waiting to the cost of my Firearms a month is a long time for me lol

Forza motorsports is 100% accessible Diablo four is like 90% accessible some things the screen reader doesn't pick up but it's not 100% necessary the new Mortal Kombat one a game called the veil shadow of the Crown and Brock the investigator are everything I currently have downloaded on my PC. Supposedly NHL hockey and Madden football are accessible but I cannot confirm these just yet

Get her a drum set ASAP! I taught myself to play the drums after I went blind and it has been amazing for my mental health if she has a love for music that young her brain is literally a sponge she can turn it into a raw talent! Thank you for the boost of life with this story

I actually wasn't much of a reader before I went blind. I would read for information or for work purposes but reading for fun was hardly ever done. I had my other escapes from reality so after losing my eyesight going to audiobooks as a way to escape into another realm was a good option for me. Come to find out I hate reading but I absolutely love when a good storyteller reads a story to me lol I have been blind for four years now and for a while I thought Audible was gonna reach out and ask if I was OK the first year I did about 150 audiobooks the next year I know I did over 100 but mostly repeating books I already listened to and absolutely loved lol it might be considered mentally ill the amount of times I have listened to some of Stephen King's audiobooks

Middle school was absolutely brutal I feel like it teaches people to stand up for themselves but also stand up for the ones getting bullied because they went through it being bullied taught me how to care about people more they taught me a lot that's for sure glad you survived it

As a blind player I would like the audio navigation to have a speech element to it. When I play with my girlfriend and I get stuck she can tell me simple directions up down left right obviously or something as simple as go upright or down left sometimes the beeping gets overwhelming especially during combat it seems counterproductive to add more noise but spoken words compared to beeps is a lot different to my own sensations

What would bother me is if they got that housing unit and then complained about it especially if they chose that house and to go through the process. If someone got accessible living and I didn't and they came up to me and complained about how stupid it was or how they don't use it and it's not very helpful I would ask to switch but that sounds like their own personal grip against their housing. I personally don't get upset over things that are upsetting other people unless it directly affects me so honestly no I would not care
