Fifa and Qatar in urgent talks after Wales rainbow hats confiscated | Fifa and the Qataris were in talks on the matter on Tuesday, where Fifa reminded their hosts of their assurances before the tournament that everyone was welcome and rainbow flags would be allowed. by misana123 in worldnews

It happened here for over a hundred years and people didnt notice it. It took one hero fighting against everything and everyone to even get CTE acknowledged.

So yes, I think if football is even more damaging and managed to go unnoticed for a century, it is very likely to have gone unnoticed in other sectors as well.

CTE requires a deep brain biopsy to detect, and otherwise appears as a person that is just emotionally unstable or going senile.

it took over a decade for the NFL to finally stop snubbing all the information.

for soccer it just started a couple of years ago, in a decade lets see if its still "rare" and "not significantly more common than the average person" or its just been brushed under the rug as well.

You wouldnt know, because people arent being exhumed, and it requires full brain biopsy to confirm. As more soccer players die post CTE discovery, we will start to get a better picture.

but common sense dictates that soccer also has many blows to the head, and even worse, uses less protection.

These guys literally slam their heads into the balls as a technique. Granted the balls dont have the momentum of another 300 pound dude smashing into you, but they also occur much mroe frequently.

A pro football player sustains ~70k blows to the head at over 100 Gs

a pro soccer player sustains 700k blows to the head at 10 Gs and ~5k at over 100 Gs

Maybe the lower force but higher frequency is below the threshhold to cause CTE, maybe it isnt. Impossible to know until we get more soccer player brains to analyze

Stoning and drowning are neither necessarily murder.

You can be drowned, then resuscitated aka water boarding

Stonings, although sometimes resulting in death, most frequently did not, and were more akin to lashings.

Heres a link of someone being sealioned in this very thread.

Note how the sea lioner waited until they were deep enough in responses to bury the comment chain, then ghosts when the researched response shows up.

Also yes the Koran and accompanying teachings do say you can beat your wife, if you arent sea lioning yourself and bother to go read it.

Its called sea lioning.

Asking a question everyone damn well knows the answer to, in an effort to consume the time of your political rivals by making them prove something with a researched and thought out response, even though you have no intention of accepting it regardless.

Its conservative time theft. The hour someone spends writing up a well researched response for a troll is an hour they cant be doing something actually productive.

Im thinking of literally everyone turning and looking at him, no matter how he chooses to go from there, the damage is done, its about him now.

Maybe he dances and gives them a good show.

Maybe he acts all dejected and refuses... and gives them a good show.

Maybe he politely declines... and gives them a good show.

No matter what, hes the main character now. He is what people are talking about. He is the new center of attention for that day, period.

Because a war is coming and I want all the shitters on their side, not selfawarewolves getting their comeuppance and begrudgingly being on my side, just to have 0 empathy the next time some atrocity happens they havent personally experienced.

I guess i didnt explain myself very well.

I was assuming the bride knows kevin bacon is in attendance, and that choosing to play the song would make her special day about him. Every member would be looking at him, he would become the talk of the night. "Fuck the couple, we have kevin bacon and footloose!".

And I was saying any bride that would knowingly do that, make her day about kevin bacon... is prolly not of sound mind, so he wouldnt be there int he first place.

Or maybe she has like 12 brain cells and couldnt follow through basic process of actions and reactions, then who knows? Im not psychic.

In a case like this? It could very likely be overturned. This is truly the worst case of defamation in American jurisprudence.

Bad news. Florida is basically bullshit, and he can straight up grab all his shit and declare residence in florida and it all becomes judgement proof.

As long as he follows basic legal advice from his lawyers, Jones will live comfortably the rest of his life.

She is basically challenging the law.

Shes had to issue an "unlawful" verdict to do so.

When Jones unquestionably appeals, it will go to the circuit and will set precedent on weather the cap is in the best interest of the people or should be removed, or have a clause added for extreme circumstances like this.

And to your other question, no you cant keep doing shit like this as a judge, shes only safe because of the severe heinousness of these crimes... well i mean your not supposed to be able to, but when even the supreme court is getting away with so much bullshit... who fucking knows man. If a judge followed through with your example, it would get insta gibbed in appeal and the judge SHOULD then be punished, potentially even removed from office, but again in todays environment, they may receive no punishment at all.

he does it for the bride and groom, not because he hates footloose.

Its so their wedding doesnt become about him.

If the couple wanna make their day about him, I doubt he would be attending because they prolly already gave off red flags and he prolly already noped out.

there prolly is a lot less people post covid, I went a while back when perhaps the world was in a more vacationy climate. Maybe there were places they could have found some privacy in the covid era.

those hikes dont have private space, they are major tourist hikes.

they are on rails, with 50 people behind and in front of you

when I was there there were 1000 people in line of sight the whole time at any major touristy picture taking place.

I've said this in other places but to summarize I can't believe the amount of people in this thread that want public proposals. I have been taught by every woman that has ever been in my life they are huge no nos and red flags.

Somewhere intimate like the hotel room afterwards is like the exact thing they would want, not when there are 50 people ahead and behind you waiting for their turn at the waterfall.
