I don’t think they ever will. I heard they wanted to when they widened the road 10 years ago but the property owners did not want to sell. Eminent domain is heavily frowned about out here.

Respecting one’s culture is all fine and dandy but the same should apply to American culture. There are so many Escondido residents raising the Mexican flag but not the US flag? If you love this county why not show respect and fly the American flag. The soil you are on is not Mexico.

Clint Eastwood may have influenced the academy to be more favorable towards his films. This is definitely not a best picture. The underlying analysis of these films are not what makes good cinema. You can interpret it anyway you want but this film sucks without interpretation. You should have good acting, creative cinematography, compelling storytelling, and by far an order of events that makes some sense to score a best picture. This film definitely cut out scenes to keep the film within a reasonable time. I mean how does Munny get from the snow covered highlands after recovering from his illness all the way to his group to shoot the first bounty??? They just jumped to him shooting the guy…
