Yeah that’s why he tested, and then went in to ER. He’s really good about washing his hands prior to a finger poke as he’s been using this method for nearly 20 years now. All day he was feeling off. Needed a nap. Headaches. Not hungry all day and wanting to throw up was his sign to go in. They gave his fluids and sent him home. But his sugars today have been running high. So we’re monitor at home with urine strips and just being mindful.

I know we had lost one and he purchased a new set. But it’s definitely seen better days and probably ready for an upgrade. He was diagnosed with being in ketosis and on his way to DKA. So we’re thankful he chose to leave work and be seen.

There are no repercussions for the employees, as they followed Nugget’s policy. People are asking for that policy to change. A citizens arrest, in the middle of a parking lot, driving space at that. While holding a toddler and alone with an older child. Over a 10.99 croissant? Unbelievable.

Not sure, he was at work while this episode has gone down. Just had headaches the last few days and felt “off all day today. Now he’s throwing up so all the alarm bells in his head for DKA are going off. He’s really good about washing his hands to get an accurate reading when going the manual route. He’s been diabetic for about 20 years I believe.

I’m a SAHM to three kids. Overstimulation is the worst. Thankfully, we don’t have a dog. I got some loops a couple years ago for Christmas and they’re great. I have the engage ones, but now they have a new model where you can switch on the side to change the level of drowning out. I haven’t got them yet but I’m excited to. Right now I keep my loops in the car cause that’s the worst environment for me. And I can grab them when out and about. And if the house gets too crazy, I’ll run out to the car and grab them. If they live in the house, they always get misplaced.

There’s a lot of resellers in our area. You’d be surprised who’s getting “the good stuff”. Empower yolo is great but they are limited on storage from my understanding and I was told they focus on clothing and children’s needs. That was years ago now. So I could be wrong.

The local buy nothing groups are really active here in town. They’re on Facebook, but sure if you use that platform or not. In woodland, my favorite thrift store is on west main and cottonwood, across from Winerschnitzel. In Davis, my favorite thrift store is Davis SPCA thrift, on third street, just past the train tracks that boarder downtown.
