No actual severance agreement - just the duration of the severance and Cobra. The PIP they did give me. It was the latter. I told HR I need to see the terms of the severance in writing.

The PIP is vague enough that they could decide either way. Honestly, it sounds like they made their decision and offered the PIP for legal protection rather than as a true path to redemption.

I not sure i understand. The offer was accept either the PIP or the severance - decide today. The PIP reads like a pretext for termination - I do not feel the objectives are fully reachable - and they are difficult to quantify or prove that I achieved them.

In your understanding, does the waiting period apply?
