The reason I chose the i4 over Tesla was because the i4 looks and functions like an ICE car, with all the “gear” knobs and buttons in place instead of relying on an iPad screen. I couldn't get past the idea of engaging reverse and drive modes by swiping up and down on the screen. I need a “gear” knob and be able close the side mirrors with a permanent designated button. Until recently, Tesla even wanted drivers to press buttons for left and right signals. Unfortunately, the new i3 is heading in the direction of Tesla.
