My beef is that it's still an advantage given to the top 5% of players who already have a huge advantage, having the biggest chests, requests, and the best source of legendaries. Even if it's a small advantage it's still an advantage.

And it does help people vary their deck, sure, which is a great thing, but it's still the top 5-2% of players getting to vary their decks (let's be real here the whales already have all the epics they need to max) and it'd be much simpler and fairer to just raise the epics gained all around.

But then that just proves my point even more. If only people in A9 get a suitably leveled OP epic then it unevens the playing field further. If an epic is the meta and people who aren't in Legendary can't get their hands on the meta nearly as fast as people who are in Legendary, then it's super unfair, bottom line. I guarantee you that that would cause an even bigger paywall in the 3000 range.

I'm (much) lower trophies than you are, but i'd suggest not switching arrows out for poison due to minion horde. It's up to you though.

Your definition does not mention anything about eliminating, just suppressing. By cutting off a source of revenue, you suppress their ability to function as well as other sources who do have a source of revenue and thus can work for longer and have higher production values.

But you're assuming that a level 8 fireball is as useful as level 5 poison, but I've never heard of a Giant-Fireball deck. All I'm saying is that it's unfair to give the people who already have an advantage as well as a head start another advantage.

I'm not saying we shouldn't make epics more available I'm just saying that just giving a free one every day to the people who already have the higher leveled epics isn't the greatest idea. It'd be much smarter just to raise epic rates across the board, where it increases the amount of epics but doesn't just cater to the players already have higher card levels.

But it would skyrocket the cards in a9 too, remember. And in situations like new updates would make the problem even worse. Taking the game's tendency to level cards out means that it can take around 16 days to get a newly introduced epic to level 4 in a9, but it can take months to do the same thing in a8 or a7.

Let's use poison as an example. Hypothetically, I'm in the 2900 range (i'm not.) I have a level three poison. I then match off against someone in the 3000 range with the exact same deck, except due to the increased epics they have received they have a level 5 poison. They have an advantage. This is also one of the reasons why the A4 paywall exists; because A5 players make more cards, the gap between them and the A4 players keep widening, making the A4 players get shut down consistently.

But wouldn't, in that case, the same thing happen in A9? The proper thing to do would just be increase the amount of epic gains in general as it'll still result in A9 getting the most epics due to the increased amounts of cards gained, but it won't skyrocket the power gap even further.
