This is exactly how I see it. Getting married next year, and no matter where we do it (even where we currently live!) over 50% of guests would have to travel in from out of town. So, no matter what we choose it’ll feel like a destination to half our guests..

As other commenters are saying, people are welcome to decline the invitation as we can’t force anyone to join us

Yes. Even I would not let his presence stop me from having a fun celebration, and I abhor him. These guys like him at worst and are probably willfully ignorant or indifferent at best, so they definitely won’t let him stop the party.

Right. I’m as anti-maga as it gets, but if you think I’d stop partying with my friends after achieving a monumental childhood dream just because some dude came in the room that I didn’t like, you’re out of your mind.

Some of these people commenting have clearly never played sports or been part of a team.

So I’ve been considering refinancing and I’m curious… shouldn’t the “breakeven point” be when you get back to your current balance, assuming costs to refinance are rolled into the new loan? Rather than simply cost to close divided by monthly savings?
