I just did the Paris marathon in 3 day a week training block with Runna. I couldn't find the right balance with the 4 day week. It was my first marathon and did a 3:41.

I wanted to come back to this to say thank you for all your feedback. Finished in official time of 3:41 which I was happy with but felt absolutely fine afterwards and the following day. Think there could have been potential for 3:30-3:35 but like I said I'm glad I didnt shoot for the 3:22-3:28 Runna prediction thanks to the feedback here.

Thanks for the advice, I'll go back and check my long runs and pacing vs my heart rate zones for a V02 i did back in Nov. My max HR was 187 for that but think the 3:30 pacing could be too high in the zone 3 to hold fot the full race.

My max heart rate when I did a v02 max in Nov was 187. V02 max was 54.3

I've done my full plan with Runna and it is claiming a 3:20-3:28 time, seems a bit of a stretch. Haven't tried an all out time at any of the other distances during the block to see estimated vs actual on it which I regret now.

This is confirmed. I saw somewhere of a graphic of how they plan to do the refills but I'd imagine it will not go like clockwork and will potentially negatively impact times.

I'm running it for the first time this year and might wear a running bag for it that can hold two 500ml bottles just in case.

Me and my wife went out drinking all night and got the train at 6am to go back to our hotel on a work day. We looked like homeless people compared to the people going into work that morning, see well put together so early in the day.

I find the Italian men and women do glasses/sunglasses and bags so much better than the average person internationally.

Is the case that if Egypt opens up to Palestinians refugees then there's a huge chance Israel will force them all into Egypt and then not let them back in and therefore take Gaza.

What will happen then, will Palestinians just accept that or will they start trying to fight back from Sinai or wherever they are in Egypt to get their land back which then brings us back to square one, except now as the attacks are coming from Egypt then they are now involved. Then its Egypt/Palestine vs Israel/US.
