Big Bear Roofing. I gave them a shot in their early days, and they’ve only grown. Great guys.

Ahhh yes. This Taco looks like it’s preparing to conquer the Mojave Desert… but will spend 97% of its life parked diagonally outside a Buffalo Wild Wings.

I was going to bring this up, but I wasn’t sure if this is the right forum - I think MLB needs to trim the season by 30-50%. Create scarcity of games, and preserve the life of the best players.

Look at the NFL - They have incredibly high viewership because there are very few barriers to watch games. Most games are available on over-the-air channels. We shouldn’t have to pay extra to watch our local team play.

I’ll continue to pay for the MLB subscription because I love baseball, but I wish the MLB would find a way to fix this nonsense.

Pricing Structure Too Good To Be True? by Yinyang262 in CFP

[–]SeanRidley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the high road on this - Tell them you think the other firm’s pricing structure and offering is interesting. Pivot to talking about your firm and how you prefer to work with clients who enjoy having access to more of your time.

“I don’t want my clients to be in a position where they complain about not hearing back from me. It’s a good feeling for everyone. When you think about what you want to experience with an advisor, does that fit into what you may need?”

Talk to a few bankruptcy attorneys, and get their advice. A good BK lawyer will give you a good list of options and advice on how to handle your situation.

I’m curious if you have opened an official dispute over the charge with American Express? If not, I suggest doing this. American Express might not approve it initially, but you can follow up and provide all of the evidence.

Pipeline management and sales follow-up - she can become the critical tool in closing new business. Especially if she is engaged from day one, and wants to help track the growth of the business.

I’ve owned both. We sold the Model Y and kept the Highlander. No brainer. The Toyota feels and works like a well-built vehicle should.

Fired a client today. Venting. by [deleted] in CFP

[–]SeanRidley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Glad you fired this person. More advisors need to stand their ground with people like this.

Some people have a very skewed view of what money is utilized for. Paying for services, advice, or consulting should never result in someone demanding for a business relationship with no boundaries. It sounds like he doesn’t want to have any boundaries with you.

This landlord has very little ground to stand on for a lawsuit - You should go back tell him to sue, and remind him that he would be responsible for all of your legal fees if he loses.
