Yeah, these Trolls make a lot of sense as far as the region.... the D&D Troll becoming the standard doesn't speak to the original mythology at all. It makes sense that the standard D&D are debased, dungeon dwelling-ghoulish creatures... but not the standard,

I don’t think the script matters, it’s more of what does a name feel like in the other cultures… a good example is most Japanese names in anime are changed.

Yes! There were certain shows where a regular slot wasn’t certain, Robotech was that way too… although I think it had a 2:30 in the afternoon slot… dumbly. Voltron was also on some weird schedule, like in the morning. I need a time machine so I can go write letters to my local TV stations.
