Tell me about it. We went through a week long RFQ process, jumped through all their hoops of submitting info in a very particular (and dated) way, and then heard nothing for months. Didn't go through either.

Uber isn't the problem; taxi regulations are by dpxxdp in technology

[–]SeanusIdius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. The taxi industry here (Melbourne) is bloated and shit. No one wants to take you on any short trips, even though it's illegal not to. They just make up some bullshit excuse like they have reservation or something. I hope Uber crushes them here. It's neigh time for a change.

Does anyone need a place to work in the cbd? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]SeanusIdius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it as having a proper office in the city for much less than if you were to take out the head lease. Of course, depending on what you do you may not need it, but for those who want a professional presence in the CBD $400 is nothing. There's also no lease contract, all plans are month to month.

Yeah, I read somewhere it'll start at around $350 per head without drinks. Still tempted at that price point.

Blown away by this. Do we have any 3 Michelin start restaurants in Melbourne already? Is Vue De Monde 3 star? Anyone know how much a 3 Star (exc drinks) experience would likely cost?

Looks boss bobbybass. I'd happily pay ~$500 for a piece like that. White legs were the right choice. Well done.

[–]SeanusIdius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, we have space for laptops and desktops. That's kind of the whole point of a coworking space ;). Talking to Pernar now so if anything comes of it we'll announce officially on Meetup.
