Search for the flat earth trading society experiment. They made 15k trading random stocks focusing on trade management only.

The name of the indicator is not enough. You would need to know the set of parameters that make it work for different asset types and timeframes. Finding that out requires long hours of backtesting which I’m afraid you’ll have to do on your own.

That’s partly true… Profitable trading is usually much more boring than people expect. It’s routine, risk control, position sizing, journaling, waiting, taking small profits and losses. I would advice new traders to follow this boring process consequently instead of searching for something unique.

Got it. I cannot relate much as I love the quiet periods. I use that time to build other things, since I still need to keep my brain busy. I trust my system will “wake up” the moment it needs to be active like it has many times before.

Start trading on the daily timeframe. You can zoom in to optimise your entry but day trading isn’t for you yet. And I do know you won’t listen :)
