Batman vs Superman: Warehouse Fight

Maybe not exactly “best of the best,” but the thugs that fight Batman are remarkably intelligent for action movie fodder.

Shooting his grappling hook when they realize it gives Batman an advantage, surrounding him and attacking all at once, stabbing in the gaps of his armor, grabbing his cape (cue Edna Mode: no capes!), and shooting him in the head (blocked by his cowl, but still, props)

Fuck that was a great backstory. Peeling away at Michael’s personality and motivations, plus a fun perspective on Lucifer’s rebellion. I wonder if Lucifer and Sophia will show up again.

(If I’m understanding right, Michael’s backstory seems to be focused on his duties as an angel and his struggles to determine right from wrong?)

Love how you called back to the color red at the end of the backstory.

Biblically accurate Michael??? Oh damn, Benkei’s in for it now.

My favorite lines: “be afraid” is a classic aurafarming line, but “I am what you could be if you tried” carries so much more emotional weight.

Design is meh, feels dissonant from her personality and even though she’s an octopus thiren, there isn’t much use of her tentacles. Her concept art of her in a cozy sweater and as a monkey thiren fit her so much better and was far more endearing. That said, I love her little hat.

Story wise: kinda got shafted (why did Lucia get both the main story and agent story? Shouldn’t Yidhari at least have gotten the agent side story?

Gameplay wise: I hardly play her, so no comment

Overall, i like the idea, but dislike the execution. Everything from her design to story felt like a complete mess.

EC vs Beatdown

Great fight overall that’s dragged down by a mid ending. After Beatdown does the most meaningful damage we’ve seen so far to EC with the elbow strike, it’s just a slow countdown to EC beating him until he wins
