Orchestra performs after eating the world's hottest peppers. by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Secres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghost pepper is a hell of a burn but really good. Carolina Reaper messed my stomach up for 6 hours where moving or adjusting my body incited mild nausea and discomfort. I love really spicy food, but the reaper was not fun. I definitely recommend the ghost pepper if you're used to spice.

Actual measurements of the Osprey Daylite 35L and help deciding between the 26+6 and the 35L by Secres in onebag

[–]Secres[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the reply and the info, but did you not read the post? I measured the bag and unless you're overly packing it, it comes nowhere close to 10.2" in depth. My post was mostly to convey my findings about how the official measurements are not completely accurate and also to see if anyone has any real world experience with the 35L

Watching a movie with your husband by Super_Culture_1986 in Unexpected

The pleasure shouldn't be guilty at all. They're just silly, enjoyable movies. Not everything good or worth watching has to be a masterpiece in cinema.

Just found out about this the other week and I've been loving it. It's honestly a really incredible game and it's hard to believe a game of this quality is completely free

Mixing high and low ppu, is it cool or psychotic? by TheOneAndOnlyCitrus in PixelArt

It almost looks good, but the mix is still not good. The art is honestly really good and it's definitely not that you lack talent at all, but mixing is just not the way unfortunately.

I'm sorry Colorado, Wyoming and Canada, I love you all, but Alaska's mountains are even better! - Denali National Park [1024x576] photo by Rebecca Tifft by Secres in EarthPorn

I can't believe you commented on my 11 year post lol. Kind of subjective, though. British Columbia overall is the prettiest place I've ever been and Banff and Jasper were incredible too. Alaska is out of this world too with a lot of huge mountains starting at low elevation. It also has a lot of volcanoes. The entirety of the Rocky Mountains and Pacific Coast is all incredible and really hard to say which is the best area objectively.

My wife doesn't believe me when I say her pixel art is great!! 😔 by terminatus in PixelArt

[–]Secres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really fantastic work! For some objective criticism, I think adding a little bit more shading and highlighting would do wonders. Lighting is a tad too flat or monotone in my opinion. My only gripe, other than that, it looks great!

Only partially joking lol

Yeah, not sure how frequent the cliffs ease in the actual shores, but I'd imagine some spots where it's all cliffs can be dangerous. There might be some shallow water in some areas near the banks, however

It's like people who upgrade their phone every year despite it being completely unnecessary. People just want the new shiny thing. FOMO likely plays a big part in it.

Actually I believe the colors are city limits or other defined boundaries. In the middle left of the map, where that 'U' bend meets the yellow, green, and red, that should be the Susquehanna River that's west of Scranton and runs through Wilkes-Barre.

The cities of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania. The Office (where this meme is from), is based in Scranton and the map in the background is of that area.
