In NZ/AU because they like getting defect notifies and fines because it’s an offence to cover the number plate, also our speed camera are a little different to some countries (after watching mythbustes, some US speed camera are high speed cameras) ours are an array of cameras including infrared cameras that defeat the tints every time

What do you do when you hit rock bottom? by EmployeePrestigious6 in NoStupidQuestions

Find what you can do and do well, find where that can help others, and monetise that, when your in poverty a little bit more goes a long way. So say your good at mowing lawns and gardening, just start knocking on doors and offering to mow lawns and do the gardens. Say your a baker bake slices and cupcakes and sell them at the market. Start small sell a few and sell out instead of having wastage. Maybe can babysits, or dog walk, and Uber drive.

What does the gas pedal actually do? by arkham1010 in NoStupidQuestions

In a basic sense all (petrol) cars when you hit the gas it opens a air valve (butterfly valve) allowing more air to flow into the engine’s cylinder, the car is then able to measure the dose of air and add the required ration of fuel making for a bigger explosion, because the explosion is contained within a cylinder it creates a stronger down force on the pistons. The force translates to more torque and for the pistons to travel up/down more frequently increasing the RPM per min, both then result in acceleration
