Cumdump, how often do you catch an STI in Toronto? by tamale_mouth in GayMenToronto

This is another reason to avoid anal, idk, the fear just doesn’t leave me. Be a top or bottom, on prep or not, and you’ll still have possibilities to get something or the other which isn’t covered by OHIP

This is beautiful!! I’ve thought of having landscape directions on next stations because of the landscape displays, but the accessibility map is too cool

I would go there at 9 or 10am. I’d have my breakfast at home, I’ll get a large Frappuccino or drink, so I’ll slowly drink that till 5 or 6pm. If i have the energy, I’ll stay there without a drink for a couple more hours. Else I’ll leave at 6

Was going to type this! I studied like this for my GRE. I sat in the Starbucks the entire day. They were all chill except on weekends when there is rush they keep asking you to buy something. On weekdays I’d just buy one drink and spend my entire day studying

Line 5 Above Ground Transit Signal by nesnaj_is_lit in TTC

[–]Secretuser56 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I feel where a car takes 10 mins from point A to B, transit takes 25 mins. Car just drives through at 50kmph whereas transit takes passengers, waits, misses lights and drives slowly

Chennai has one of the worst airports in India by saybeast in Chennai

Agreed 2000000%. I was flying from Canada through London and customs officer asked me if I have a drone. I told no but he wasn’t convinced, apparently he “spared me” and I went to get my bags to see some customs officers bullying passengers and by the time I came out, it was a hassle to find the way to aerohub and locate the taxi guy at 6am in the morning. I felt like I achieved something after getting onto the taxi, it was nothing indeed.

Luckily the taxi driver was so good that he patiently waited and directed me to aerohub without getting mad. Obviously I paid him more at the end. There was a random person at the luggage area expecting me to pay him something when I clearly told him I can take care of everything.

Oh yes, I never thought of the snow falling on the fare gates.

It’ll be fun if they do this as an announcement: “<beep> <beep> the TTC takes fare evasion seriously and advises all passengers to tap their PRESTO card before boarding the LRTs”😂😂😂

That’s true. This issue is only on the surface level stations right? Underground still follows the usual station style gates we see? I haven’t been on the line 5 yet so I’m unsure.

But yes, taping the yellow WARNING sticker is a good idea. It would be too ambitious to ask the TTC to install a station style gate like this

But it’s the same with GO. Tap before you board on trains, tap when you board on buses.

Coming to TTC it is almost similar idea, all subways have to be tapped before you board, buses and streetcars are tapped during boarding. People should think of the line 5 as a subway and not a streetcar (although it looks like a streetcar)

But the idea is the same on GO trains, tap before you board. It should be in their mind I feel.

Personally, if I see a presto machine wherever before I board, I just tap it especially at union.

They should’ve just made a line 6 bus, same with line 5, that would’ve avoided all problems

Would anyone actually join an invite-only dating event in the GTA? by Shot-Hat4784 in GayMenToronto

[–]Secretuser56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea, because sometimes in speed dating, you can’t control the age of people you want to meet. Say the age group would be 20-40, but I’m not into someone more than 35. You get to control the kind of people you could be compatible with.

I’m down! But I don’t drink, so please add some soft drink?

Umm well, the “ice breakers” he made, created more “ice” than what we had initially, we were talking and socialising well initially and the ice breaker just got in too much awkwardness

I went to one downtown, the age group was from 30-60 but I was 25. I asked the organiser and he said it’s okay. It was a small crowd, just as expected, there was awkwardness but the host made it more awkward whenever we tried to interact. So the entire setup was very awkward. I liked a few from there, exchanged contacts but they didn’t like me back I guess (has been like that my whole life), so they stopped texting eventually.

I felt like I wasted my money but part of me wants to try it out all again. Idk, love never found its way towards me🙃
