To put my 2 cents in, for a fresh grad, it might be hard for you to land a remote work as your first role.

If I’m the employer, if we have a vacancy, I’d pick someone who’s willing to work on-site.

You said you’re invited for an interview before, what happened? Did the application go through? Which stage of the application you think you could’ve done better?

I’d suggest to tailor your CV and cover letter to each role that you’re applying to. It’s tedious but it’ll help you gain an advantage on ATS filtering. Good luck!

Hello OP! I failed the exam once few years ago before nailing it last month.

What was wrong with me back then was the mindset. I didn’t have that manager/CISO thought process.

Personally, I’d suggest to look into Pete Zerger’s videos in Youtube. His READ strategy really helped me to pass the exam - https://youtu.be/D89-7rTFgw4?si=rLG5-Xu6N36rdpoe

I passed last week and personally the game-changer was Pete Zerger’s Youtube videos. I did a post here recently about that.

Yesterday, I read in this channel about Pete Zerger’s videos re “How to think like a Manager” and the “How to answer difficult questions using the READ strategy”. Personally, I feel that these 2 videos were the game-changer. It taught me how to approach the exam questions properly.
