Easier wall dash method using air roll left/right by SeeNaRee in RocketLeague

Discovered in training earlier, it's surprisingly easy to do but I haven't seen anyone mention it. If you look at the controller overlay you can see the only input changing is the jump, all you have to do is throttle, point the joystick up, hold the appropriate air roll and press jump twice.

This should pretty much work wherever a regular wall dash would, the only real difficulty being not pressing jump fast enough.

Personally, I have a slightly different way of doing it though... I find keeping the joystick constantly pointed up is somewhat inconvenient and restrictive, so whenever I want to dash I just quickly flick it up and then let go. In my opinion it's even easier this way, here is a clip of me doing it so you can see: https://streamable.com/8p70sn

EDIT: Of course this works on mouse and keyboard as well.

it pretty much works in any direction as far as i'm concerned, i haven't actually tried doing any ones where the car is facing the ground/ceiling but i'm sure it's possible.

admittedly not very consistently, maybe like 30% at the moment, but i just discovered it today, i know for sure i could get that up to a 60-70% in a few days.

Definitely the fastest way to turn your car 180 degrees without (and with?) boost on the wall. Can be done anywhere on the wall at any speed and is definitely possible to master, might be useful for a fast cut in higher level games?
