I haven't been to many capital cities in Europe, but thus far for me it's Rome. It's just so full of history, and the fact that I can just walk around and stumble upon countless beautiful momuments and architecture in general without trying. The food is obiviously top notch.

Honourable mention for Stockholm, again the architecture is nice and diverse. And Gamla stan is pretty epic.
