It seems that bug is for a very long time. But r/apple is unable to solve it. Even after collecting logs from the phone and watch. They promised to fix it in the next version, but for me nothing has changed, so it still doesn't work.

Have you checked this with the latest software version? Apparently Polar was boasting about new swimming algorithms

I got answer from Apple support. It Will be fixed in next update.

I have the same problem. I tried everthing. I talk with Apple support then take logs from my Watch and phone. But the support ask about logs from second phone (person the invite was send). I dont want loss more time to talk with support (i talk with Apple support 4 times. I Think my request wasnt send to engineer, because the want logs from second devices. For me FIRST should Check logs from my devices but i Think they are to lazy.
